With movement, meditation, reflection, and deep self healing, we collaborate in the renewal of the mind and body. Physically moving trapped energy caused by trauma, injury or illness, allows us to work together to create a dynamic, and multifaceted program to realign mind, body and spirit. Vagabond Wellness believes that it is never too late to start on your journey. Self healing is a process, and everyone begins when they are supposed to. You find the practice of healing when you are meant to and this process looks different for everyone.
If you are looking to enhance your understanding of yourself, and your relationship with others, I’m here to support those goals with you. If you have been searching for meaning and purpose in your everyday life, I can support you with this important requirement. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I offer support for effective change through mindfulness and other mental health strategies. Together, we can find the right tools and resources necessary for you to feel more tuned into your own personal rhythm. If what I’ve shared here connects with you, reach out! I’m accepting new clients and I am an intern under the supervision of a registered psychotherapist at Calming Minds Psychotherapy and Wellness. See HERE for more details!
It is YOUR practice and you have the freedom to choose what that looks like for you. Check out some classes to see which ones would benefit your mind, body and spirit. We love to collaborate with other local businesses in the form of workshops, meditation circles and community awareness. We offer elevated yoga in partnership with Kelly's Green Lounge. Contact us for details and please see our blog for upcoming events.
We believe in a judgement free, comfortable and safe environment, so we created Foundations of Yoga. This class is perfect for anyone who is stepping onto their mats for the first time. We also created this modality for anyone returning to their mats from injury or illness. This class is also perfect for a seasoned yogi who wants to return to their roots. You will develop and obtain a full understanding of posture, alignment, and yogic concepts through a simple Hatha style of yoga.
If you are looking to take your new practice to the next level and learn a bit more of a vinyasa (flow) style movement, this class is the perfect opportunity. Vinyasa style yoga combines a variety of postures into one fluid, flowing class. We will learn how to control the breath, transition from one posture to another and use this bodily movement as a meditation.
This class is for individuals who want to push the envelope and really develop their yoga practice. Through fully engaging in breath-work, mantra, dynamic transition, and intermediate postures, including inversions and arm balances, we harness the power of yoga and start to use these skills to transition our awareness from our mats into everyday life.
